It's entertaining reading this thread from the beginning knowing that the OP was dead wrong. Just wanted to see his and SayAlt's responses after a great year in the market but it appears they have ducked out.

I didn't read the whole post. Given that, bubbles always seem to go longer than anybody thinks they will. I'd wait a couple more years before judging the original poster

The OP didn't say a bubble burst was coming at some point. That's always the case. He said it was coming in 2016 so yeah it was an epically bad statement.

Well yes, if you wait until 2019 you will have a much better idea of what you should have done or not done in 2017.

I especially like SayAlt's repudiation of forecasts for $50/bbl oil and instead pegging $20/bbl...when in the last 12 months WTI's trading range has been $39.53-54.36 and most commonly trading in the mid-upper $40 range.

So where's TBoone Pickens and the peal oil crowd? Haven't seen him shouting "the end is near"on CNBC lately.

Dumb post above. On airport reserve yet still too lazy to read whole post. Sorry guys, I'm officially one of those guys. I do think there is a massive correction when the federal debt catches up to us but that could be awhile.
