Hangar Home financing

Anybody live in a hangar home? We are thinking of buying one but the local mortgage options are limited. Not too many comparables, and the whole contractor pilot thing is confusing for those lenders that don't understand income that varies month to month.

You are better off referring to it as an "Out building or barn." I just built a hangar on my house and was quickly reassessed $164,000 for the addition. (Airplanes = money to the tax boys.)

Is the home in an airpark? We lived in an airpark north of DEN for a few years. The lending was a major hassle and numerous letters/docs had to be provided before we could get financing, but was worth it. Feel free to pm me.
