Those Delta pilots will have another choice soon. The Delta C-Series will be the shiznit. Cockpit as wide as an Airbus but the automation of a Netjets Global 6000 (with a more responsive sidestick). Short range or long range (up to 3,000 miles) will make it very versatile and capable of HPN-LAX or FLL-SEA. Should arrive during the Spring of 2018 and pilots will bid for it this fall. 115 seats with an initial LAX base and other bases likely as the first 75 airplanes are delivered. No doubt plenty of 717 and MD88/90 pilots looking at it...
