Looking to make the jump from the regionals. Currently hold a RATP. I know the published mins say RATP is acceptable but curious as to the reality and likelihood of being considered? And if so, is there an average timeline?
Thanks in advance

If you meet the mins, you are very likely to get a call or invitation to a hiring meet and greet. Not sure about the timeline. Good luck.

As said above, if you meet the mins you will get a call. The process is moving quickly, 2-3 months from application to INDOC, as they press to meet/exceed their hiring numbers for the year.

Best of luck

Default New Hiring Process?

Has anyone interviewed with Netjets recently. Seems like the hiring process has changed since previous posts and AviationInterviews... or maybe its just me? After the initial phone screening I was given a link to schedule an hour long phone interview where I will be given an approach plate the morning of to review and prepare to brief. Has anyone else had this? TIA

I think the term you are looking for is "virtual Interview." Some people have the virtual interview and others do not. I would not read too much into that. Do well and you will be invited to the EXPO.

Best of luck,

Looks like I’m going to be doing a phone call with NJ in a couple weeks. If all goes well the next step is going to the expo for an in-person interview and sim eval correct?

That is correct, although a few have been invited to interview in-person prior to or in lieu of an Expo. Not many, but some.

Also, it appears the rate of Expos will increase next year from monthly to about every 3 weeks. Good luck to all…

Default The Vax?

I took the COVID-19 early retirement offer at one of the majors and elected to not get the vaccine post retirement. Does anyone know what NJA’s current position is on the COVID-19 vaccination. Do they require their pilots to be vaccinated as a condition of employment.
Thank you in advance.

Default Expo interview questions

Hey there! Got a last minute invite to Columbus for next week's expo. I feel a bit unprepared for the 2, 30-minute interviews and was wondering if anyone who's interviewed lately could share the questions / scenarios you were asked so I can make sure to study? I am mostly interested in the technical questions as I feel pretty prepared for the customer service based questions.

and just for the thread's knowledge of who's getting interviews -
I have CPL SEL MEL (no CFI)
1570 TT
1505 PIC
270 MEL

October's expo is 10/10 - 10/11
November's is 11/1 - 11/2
December's is either 12/12 - 12/13 or 12/13 - 12/14

Thanks in advance

I interviewed last month and was invited to the October class. At the event, try and be social and friendly, every person you encounter wants you to be successful, including your fellow applicants.
During the interview I was asked to introduce myself and my aviation journey so far, I was asked how I would respond to a scenario with an owner, but no technical questions.

Best of luck to you!
