Hi there! I’m looking to submit my application in December or January, hoping for a late March or April class. Is there a calendar available of when all the upcoming hiring expos will be? Also, is my timeline for applying okay? I don’t want to apply too early because I don’t want to break the contract at my current job. Also, is it possible to get hired without having an internal recommendation? Thanks

As for your timeline, as with any seniority system get in as soon as you can. Looking back at the last three Hiring Expos, the pilots that pass the process are offered class dates over the following two months. For example, expo in July equals class in August or September.
I hope this helps and best of luck to you.

Can anyone give a decent rundown on the phone interview and expo? I.e questions asked? All TMAAT? Technical q's? Anything else to know to better prepare?
Saw a post a few pages back but hoping to get a more in depth answer
Thanks

I recommend joining aircrewinterviews.com and researching the NetJets info there.
I think it's pretty accurate, from what I've been told.
There's a lot of info on the site and if it is accurate, you should be well prepared.
Phone screening: (from what I've heard)
Review of resume (you go through your experience up to now), review of hours (latest totals), a couple of basic TMAAT and some yes/no verification questions that you shouldn't need to prep for.
Good Luck

Ask, anyone hired in 05. Those hired early in the year spent years as a captain making over $150K once that yrs contract was signed. Those just a few months later sat as FO’s for over a decade.
I wouldn’t advocate just walking away. But, if there is a way out built into your contract, and you give them time to find your replacement, they might be understanding.

I’ve advised all my friends who still have training contracts applying here the same thing. It would be well worth it to pay it off, take the financial hit, then make up the money with FDP or by staying out an extra day or two.

Thanks ASA for the correction. Is it possible to edit a post after the fact? Seems the edit button disappears quite soon after you post. I'd like to fix it for guy looking in the future.
