Is EUG a crew domicile? on the official list on the website it lists PDX, then later down the list it just says OREGON... confused because that is the only state that is listed like that. I would imagine EUG would be a domicile because it has plenty of Airline service.

EUG is not a crew base.

I don't have any dealings with the interview process, but have the pleasure of dealing with new hires after initial training. That can be talked about at length for sure.
For those who truly want to fly and the life of an NJA pilot, and received the TBNT answer, reapply as soon as allowed. For those who did a shotgun application blast to many companies and NJA was planned stepping stone then keep stepping. Meaning don't look back and look forward. Everyone is hiring and something will open up for you.
For those who want to be at NJA I encourage you to seek out a pilot and speak with them. It's a great source of intel and gather facts. I'd find someone who's been on property a short time and pick their brain. This kind of flying requires adaptability beyond flexibility. Teamwork beyond compare. Patience like handling a toddler and a puppy at home while getting your "honey do list" completed. The flying is challenging on a good day, demanding and testing on a bad day. Trying to get into a place like 07FA with weather that's not playing fair, how about TEB in the winter with approach to rwy 06 with circle to 01 and the winds over the Heights and then there is the joy of TEX or SUN in the winter with the flows restrictions. Point? Absolutely, you'll not be bored and you'll be challenged.
Each day flying is a box of chocolates at NJA. So if you need routine or predictability then look 121. If flexibility is your middle name then NJA type of flying is for you.

I recently successfully completed the hiring process after attending a hiring event. Obviously I am no NJA expert, but what I can say is that everyone who I encountered at the event was friendly, very professional, and straightforward. I believe they exude the qualities they look for. There is no secret handshake or special phrases you must use or say. My only recommendation is to be completely open and honest about yourself and trust that they will guide you through the process in their own way. They are incredibly busy right now, but they treated us all with respect and good faith from the beginning. If you are what they are looking for then you have a good shot!
