According to the union provided stats on FDP, the XLS average .36 hours per day less than the Latitude in the 4th quarter of 2021. Just over 3.5 per day vs just under 3.9 in the Latitude. That is an average of just over 2 hours of FDP pay difference over a 7 day tour. All the fleets are flying quite a bit. The 350 and Lattitude are pretty consistently the two busiest now, but not by all that much.

And it can be all over the board from rotation to rotation. I’m on the -350. I just finished a 17.4 hour, 7-day tour. Two tours ago was an 8-day, 48.5 hour tour. Those are both somewhat outliers. “Normal” is in-between.

How does the 401k match work?

If you opt to contribute 20% to get the full match is that based off of total pay or only the guaranteed salary?

I understand the FDPP 401k contributions

Contribution percentage covers all pay.

You can also contribute more than 20%, but the match for anything over 20% isn't deposited until the following year.

Okay but the IRS limit for employee contributions is $22,500, are guys usually hitting that pretty quick if they're putting 20% in?

The total IRS limit is way above that mark. Total last year was around 64k including discretionary and nondescretionary contributions and catch up for us old folks.

Is it common to get to that 64k limit at Netjets?

I would guess less than 10 percent. You would have to be 50 or older to do the catch up contributions and get that match and then get another 63K or so in FDP (33% of the FDP is put into your 401K). That is working quite a bit and most likely doing the 72 or 76 day schedules to get there.

Default New Hire Pay

I chatted with a new hire yesterday in the hotel lobby.

He said he’s on track for $120,000 this year so far.

He joined us in November 2021.

Phenom.
