The only difference is the addition of Uber and Lyft on the scene. Since I moved to another base, nothing has changed. Another nice perk, although many are unaware as they don’t advertise.

Some pay for employee parking as some bases charge, have limited parking, or are eternally short staffed and the wait for the van can be problematic. It’s a matter of convenience/preference.
I've never tried billing the company for Lyft or Uber to the terminal but I'm lucky. My wife drops me off and picks me up since the airport is a 7 minute drive from the house.

She does like it when I tip her five bucks though....

Seriuosly tho! we're not being serious. But if we were, NetJets encourages gratuity and reimburses accordingly.

If that were true, the guideline for tips wouldn’t still be $5.

I’m embarrassed when I can only tip some poor kid a fiver when he dumps a stinky lav.

Especially when inflation is gaining steam daily.

If you’re under the leadership of one TT, the amount is never disputed when those kids go above and beyond.

Although I have turned in higher numbers for the Acme Moving Van baggage loads, I've never tried submitting bigger tips for standard services.

You can always tip them $10 if they pour it from the top

The Citation Ultra/Encore and Hawker 400XP had "honey bucket" lavs, no external service. If I remember correctly we were allowed to tip $20 for the FBO guy to take those out and dump them. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think NetJets has any jets without externally serviced lavs now. Still the $5 tip has been the max since at least 2005, probably longer than that.
