I have been a working professional for 28 years. Some positions paid very well and some did not. I cannot even imagine sitting down with someone, other than a spouse or accountant, and show W2’s complete with address and social security numbers. A W2 is a deeply personal document. Nothing wrong with transparency at all. HR department HATES it but the more information the better we, the workers, are against management. There is nothing on that W2 that we couldn’t find on the dark net in 30 minutes if so desired.
