So far, no "redundancies" announced. Flight demand VERY slowly recovering. I expect status quo on staffing until July/August at the earliest.

Come now. I have it on good authority that NJ’s furloughed 1000, and the only people to hear about it was the competition.

I guess, there are a 1000 pilots that keep showing up to work, and didn't know they weren't supposed too.

Fixed the glitch.

Valid question. While NJE Ops HQ is in Portugal and the aircraft are registered there, Sales and Marketing as well as crew contracts are in the UK (with a few exceptions). I guess the UK contract was chosen by the company because of lower cost of employment (low social security/national insurance contributions) and pretty pro-employer/anti-union labour laws.

I've heard other reports that the NJE furloughs weren't out of seniority order and that a couple of their union leaders voted on some sort of package that furloughed themselves. I have no idea what is real. Are they even officially furloughs or straight firing without the protection of being hired back before anyone new is hired in the future?

I'd love to shed more light but I can't share anything that's not already in the public domain unfortunately.

NJA furloughed 1,000???? in 2020, in the world of social media, twitter, Facebook, message boards?? Did they bury the bodies or held hostage their children and mother so that those 1,000 remain utterly silent???

They are locked in a room with all the first year new hires that made 300k.
