Is this just a NetJets thing, or is this happening across the industry? I never remember FBOs treating me like that in my 135 days, but maybe times change...

And. you are NOT a pilot. If you were one, you wouldn’t be on this site making such condescending comments to real pilots.

At airports, pilots go through the same damned door that everyone else enters through.
Why should it be any different for corporate flying?

The crew and employee area at the Netjets-branded FBOs are separate from the customer lounge. Third party FBOs are the same as they always have been. Fine by me to go straight to the area where I won't be seen by the customers while relaxing between flights.

same here, not sure why you want to be around the customers, when we have our private lounges in the back.

I relax between flights in the back of the jet....

IF I have more than a few minutes between flights that is.

NJ has several company-branded facilities across the country and abroad.

Many of these facilities have employee entrances that we are "encouraged" to use.

We are our own worst enemy, don’t know how to behave in public.
How many times have you seen a pilot asleep in an FBO all disheveled and feet on the table or couch?
If I am paying $15k-$20k for this flight I may not be interested in seeing that or sitting next to you. I may also not be interested in shaking your hand after I’ve seen you tuck in your shirt and give yer jewels a shake on the way by.
Raise your hand if you’ve ever seen a pilot raid the snack counter at an FBO....yeah thought so.
Yes I’m a pilot and yes I’ve flown 135 and I can tell you if I were an owner I’d be an absolute kampfkommandant.
Sorry about your feewings.

Interesting perspective. A client would be a pretty big jerk to feel that way and project that feeling onto others. Do you treat your uBer drivers like that? Waiter/waitress? I personally find it pathetic to watch people try and justify treating others like garbage because it makes them feel elite. Even weirder to watch pilots defend the position. When these ultra-rich elites want pilotless airplanes because they don't want to be seen near "the help" are you going to be ok finding another profession?
