I realize the window just opened yesterday and not much is known about mins that are getting in, but would I be competitive pre covid? No idea what the hiring landscape looked like back then as I knew I wasn’t competitive with no atp or turbine time.

Like to get some insight if I should apply. Do you think it’s worth applying if I don’t have all of the requirements? I’m missing a ATP and/or the written exam. Currently I have:
2000 hours
550pic
1400 multi turbine (all sic time)
Over 300 hour actual
I currently fly for another fractional company and always wanted to make the move to NetJets. I didn’t want to look bad by applying and not meeting the requirements. Should I just wait to get my ATP or finish the CTP before applying. I know my resume isn’t going to be the most competitive one, if anyone could give some advice. Thanks in advance

You are exactly what they're looking for. Get the written done and apply. It's worth $100k per year.

I have around 4200 hours total time about 3,000 hours PIC in turbo props and about 400 SIC in jets current check airman. Just sent in my application, how important are internal recommendations? Unfortunately my network in the fractional aviation realm is not very deep. I have always wanted to work at Net Jets. Only place I have applied for since I started my last job 5 years ago. Any idea when they are looking to start brining people on or start interviews. Fingers are crossed.

From what I'm hearing, you are very competitive. They are finding pilots with a shorter resume of experience have the best success. Is that due to age or motivation? I would say every situation is different. 2019 had a lot of 20k-30k hour pilots fail training or quit after a month online. The minimums were lowered from 2500 hrs to 1500 hrs to get motivated pilots.

We have been told that people will start the interview process where they left off. When Covid hit, there were about 80 people that were moving through the interview process, from resume pulled for phone screening to CJO and waiting on a class date.

I have seen people without internal recomendations get hired and I have seen people with them not get an interview. Do not let the fact that you do not have one keep you from applying. NetJets hires the person.

I asked the question during my interview two years ago on behalf of a buddy of mine about the hiring minimums being waiverable. They said they absolutely will not waive any of the hiring minimums. They then followed up with saying they hire people with the bare minimums and turn away folks with more than 3 times the minimums. Once you meet the minimums and the recruiters are confident you are a safe pilot its all about how they feel you will represent the company on the road and in front of the owners (passengers).
