Your guess is wrong. Flex made that deal over 5 years ago. If you think Kenn Ricci, as a visionary, is going to abandon the Aerion, you are mistaken.
I am not aware of any layoffs and I work there. Every fleet has been flying balls to the wall.
According the FlightAware, we have 10 G-450s and 4 G-650s (two more G deliveries this year). So it appears that program hasn’t been abandoned either.

I did not say that Flex laid off. I said the combo of the DAC/OneSky companies took the money and laid off. It’s an actual fact your visionary took money that was meant to protect the employees and he laid them off. The two articles above show that Constant Aviation took CARES/PPL money several day before laying off over 50 employees.
Kenn Ricci a visionary? He’s more of a master manipulator of funds, shuffling them from one cup to another. See the article below how Nextant is being sued for selling a new airplane with used engines. Why were the engines used? Because Williams had a credit freeze on Nextant which means it didn’t have any money. I’m sure that CARES money helped them out.

Aerion can’t be in 2 “exclusive agreements” at the same time and I don’t see NetJets piggybacking to Flexjet’s Aerion delivery. This leads me to believe that Aerion dropped Flex’s agreement and went to NetJets.
The important question regarding your 650’s are how many are fully owed with fractional owners on them? How many are encumbered?
Here is Flex’s 2014 announcement of 50 Gulfstream aircraft. How many did you say you have? It’s not 50 after an announcement 7 years ago. It makes great headlines though.

I have no idea whether NJ or Flex or anybody else will ever take delivery of an Aerion AS2 in my lifetime, let alone my career. I have been following the development of this concept since a B/CA article on Dr. Tracy that I read almost 30 years ago. The development roadblocks have been monumental, even with a billionaire sugar daddy footing the bill for more than a decade.
To me, the fact that Netjets now has an agreement with Aerion pushes the effort way closer to the goal line than the Flex agreement ever did. But I don't see the odds as better than 50-50 even with two agreements on the books. Is there a market? Absolutely. Can they git 'er done? (Insert shoulder shrug emoji here)
Regardless, in my opinion, Kenn is a quintessential snake-oil salesman and ASA nailed it.
