Home based live anywhere airline service is (not just big hubs, anywhere) company airlines you to the jet day 1 of 15 and home day 15 than your 13 off starts. Easy work, rental car every night on the road no ubers or taxis. Need two PICs and two SICs, Ventura Aero https://venturajet.com/careers/
Been around decades, just started flying the Challenger, have 3 captains now and two FOs, but still short 4 pilots for the two planes, You wont fly as much as Netjets, but very similar job. You dont have to choose between dinner and 8 hours of sleep, the down time each day allows you to recharge. There will never be a 7/7, but 15/13 is not bad with the 24 + hour overnights every couple days.

I disagree.
15/13 is bad, otherwise everyone would be lining up to go work at Atlas!

Perhaps the hiring process needs… tweaked.

Successful pilot hiring had always been done by pilots with the help of HR. Not how it is now.

I’m not trying to be overly critical, just realistic.

It seems we’re searching for cherries in a pumpkin patch.

You stand corrected; Atlas is actually 17 minimum

Great, I'll be sure to remember that if I'm ever on jeopardy!

Don’t forget to phrase it as a question!

You think? The union has been saying this for some time. Hopefully changes will take place as they will never come close to hire what they need with the current system. The only positive takeaway is those rejected can apply after 6 months and most likely will have another chance.

Just making sure I understand something; there is the 2.09 per diem domestic while away and also crew meals provided for free? So your per diem becomes tax free money for funzies if you only eat the crew meals (I'm sure those do get tiring, but coming from a meal prepper myself... meh)? I only base my expenses on minimum guarantees, but that is pretty neat if I understand correctly.
I am also guessing that it is fairly easy to get above that 10 hour FDP during a tour, giving you that extra income and 401K.
Being at 6'3", would there be a good chance of getting out of the Phenom right away? Internal Rec in, just waiting to hear more at this point.

You are correct on per diem. Domestic works the same way but a lower amount.

FDP above 10hrs for a 7 day trip is almost a guarantee. I usually hit 20-25 hours a week. The last 2 months have been 25-35 hrs in 7 days.

No way you will fit the Phenom.

For others considering NetJets.... you will move faster up the list quicker on the Phenom though. So, that means better vacations, better 7n7 lines, and maybe quicker access to the 52 day.

There is currently a program that allows you to receive two meal deviations valued at $23 each...or $46 combined not inclusive of delivery. You forgo your two company crew meals.

Many see this as a huge gain to your quality of eating life on the road.

Over 10 hours for FDP in a tour..... especially a 7 day tour....yep. However, if they can actually hit their hiring goals I'm guessing it will lower the overall FDP average. But at the current pace of things....they need to hire asap. Every tour being 30 hours / $3,000 + is totally amazing....and totally exhausting.
