Competitive mins

Hi all, what are the competitive hiring mins for NetJets now a days?

MWilliams 05-11-2021 09:53 AM

NetJets does not subscribe to the “competitive mins” concept. When you meet or exceed the minimums apply. At that point NetJets will hire the right person for the job.

Do you guys have any information if NetJets will hire with less than 1500 hours? I am a USAF reservist with restricted ATP minimums, ATP-CTP completed with the written scheduled. I have flown all over the world in heavy aircraft but am not at the 1500 hour total time mark. I would love to work at the company but don't want to waste people's time if I'm not even close.

Thanks in advance.

That sems to be a hard number. Until not long ago, the number was 2500 but hiring environment reality forced a change. I doubt it will change again or that exceptions will be made.

Good luck and thanks for serving.

1500 is a hard minimum. The last indoc had plenty of pilots with less than 2000 total, so throw that app in as soon as you hit 1500.

The last indoc class had a huge variety of different types of pilots. There were some really young men and women (early 20’s) and all sorts of backgrounds. They seem much more interested in your personality and fit in their culture than they are with your hours.

Copy all. Thanks for the information everybody.

How about the 150 instrument time? I’ve got just over 1500 hours and an R-ATP but less than 150 instrument.

All the mins on the website are hard times. The company has sent out emails stating how swamped the HR team is and to tell our friends not to apply unless they have them as it wastes the hiring department’s time. It could actually hurt your chances if you apply before having the mins.

Military .3 multiplier to total time?

Similar to a question below. I know some companies will add .2 or .3 per military sortie when former military are applying. I am curious if netjets does something similar. I have my restricted ATP and am just shy of the 1500 hour requirement, but would be above 1500 with this multiplier. Just want to ensure I am applying at the appropriate time, while not wasting time if I could apply now.

I’m not part of NetJets hiring or HR. I do know that is it’s very common and accepted practice to add the multiplier for military flights for the purpose of converting to civilian flight time.
