The union is NJASAP (NetJets Association of Shared Aircraft Pilots) NJASAP is an in house union that only represents the pilots of NetJets. Dues are 1.5%. The Executive board is very transparent with how they manage the finances and over the last five years has returned $3 million back to the pilot group.

And has negotiated Flight Duty Pay (currently at $148/hr for every hour over 10 in a single tour), guaranteed upgrades for those First Officers hired before 2015, and many, many more benefits. All while keeping an excellent working relationship with management such that the pilots feel respected for what we contribute.

That said, NJASAP beats the living daylights out of the Teamsters but let’s not go overboard.

Don't forget about the IPA..
Every pilot in the Part 91K/Part 135 World owes the NJASAP pilots a debt of gratitude for setting an Industry Standard and proving that a pilot could have a stable, successful, and lucrative career in the 91K/135 World without ever having to go Part 121 if they didn't want to. With that being said, don't forget about the UPS Pilots Union, the Independent Pilots Association. That has been one of the most effective pilots union in the last 30 years due to an amazingly unified pilot group. Props to NJASAP and IPA!

Delta, or any other airline/fractional/charter, at the end of a 14 hour day is still just an JOB. At least the people at NJASAP are fighting to keep the max duty day at 14 hours. Others think 16 is a good idea.

You are talking about the same union that changed the election bylaws five years ago that basically insulated incumbents from potential challengers.
