What type of luggage is everyone using for 7 on 7 off schedule? Thanks In advance.[emoji16]

Not with you guys, with the guys up the road but work similar schedules. I use the Luggageworks Stealth 22" for my roller and Luggageworks Stealth Flight Cube for my flight bag. I can easily fit 7 days worth of clothes in the roller, 8 days including the uniform I wear on day 1. 7 sets of undershirts, underwear, and socks, a couple shirts and light jacket for the overnights, pair of jeans, pair of kaki shorts, tennis shoes, toiletries, 2 extra uniform shirts, 1 extra pair of uniform pants, t-shirt and shorts to sleep in, and toiletries. It's an art of rolling and folding but easily doable. If my trip is longer than 8 days (I do long rotations occasionally if I want more time off between) I pack a tide pod and do laundry at the hotel when I run out of clean clothes. The Flight Cube fits my chargers, iPad, 13" laptop, headset (A20s in their case), poncho that rolls into itself, gloves in the winter, and sugnlasses.

There are probably hundreds of different bags used by the pilots. Many use the airline style tanks to withstand the road abuse. Many use Briggs & Riley 22" rollers (very nice with a lifetime warranty, but also very expensive). Costco 22" bags used to be popular until they were discontinued. TravelPros are pretty popular. I prefer a lighter bag and typically get 5 years or so on a TravelPro or other sub $200 roller. For a secondary bag, I use a backpack that fits under the seat in front of me on the airline, but can expand a bit to carry a bunch of waters or whatever for the overnights, along with all the cockpit stuff and personal electronics and reading materials. You will quickly find what works for you.

I used a 26" Luggage Works bag with the metal frame, then later went to the plastic frame. I always took the 26" in the cabin with me (except most RJ's that do gate check). I never had any problems from gate agents or F/A's, but then I always traveled in uniform. I still have the last 26" bag although I don't travel anymore. The cats use it as a bed now. :)

I'm astounded trouljaboy could fit all that in a 22" bag.

Not all 22" rollaboards are created the same. Some have noticeably more room than others. I have a 22" Travelpro now and it holds everything needed for a week easily.

My goal is to constantly edit and make the bag lighter every week.

22" EBag. The Kirland 22" was my favorite but they don't sell it anymore. The Luggage Works didn't hold up for me. To expensive for the number of year before failure. Everyone always says "but you can rebuild the Luggage Works bag", or I can buy another bag for half the cost that last just as long.

I tried the 26" also. What a pain in the ass. Heavy and I don't bring my entire closet. I just need 8 pairs of socks/underwear, 7 undershirts, 2 spare uniforms, jeans, shorts, longs sleeve pullover, and running shoes.

I blame the military for teaching me how to pack. Ha. Fully loaded for an 8 day trip it's tight but easily do-able. Occasionally I'll have a 4 or 5 day trip and the bag feels empty. Always makes me wonder how airline guys fill up a 22" when they're doing 2-4 day trips.

it’s for our booze. We always get in after the bar closes….and the reason I’m switching to a 26”.

TWO spare uniforms? Or uniform shirts?

I carry a shirt for each day but only ONE complete uniform like the book says. Not schlepping an extra on a "what if."

What I liked about the 26" Luggage Works bag was all the compartments. For a 7 day trip: In the main area I packed a spare pair of uniform pants; A uniform shirt for each day of a trip in warm weather (my jet didn't have an APU); A T-Shirt for each day of the trip (again, no APU); One civilian pants with zip off legs; One or two civilian shirts; A few other misc items. In one side pocket I stuffed all my black socks into; The other side pocket had my collapsible tennis shoes with a couple pair of ankle socks. I also carried a backpack with built in wheels I used when I didn't take the LW bag onboard with me. All my tech and meds went in there along with a day or two's worth of clothing if I had to check my LW bag.

Not sure if that was a question. Yes that bag works great for fractional flying. I have a similar bag.
