There were almost monthly SIC bids for the CL-350 between July/August of last year and about April of this year. Each bid had 6-12 openings. I think there were fewer than 10 takers total from those off seat-lock. Almost NO ONE has bid any open SIC slots on the CL-650. As was mentioned, the recent GL-6000 SIC bid was the only one to actually be filled with current SICs off seat-lock.
There’s a lot of conjecture why so many have gone infilled, and subsequently been filled by new-hires. I suspect the belief that there may be a lot of upgrades coming and folks don’t want to carry extra seat lock into their first PIC bid may have something to do with that, BWTHDIK.
