NetJets hotel RONs
It's official,
NetJets RON hotels are now of far less quality than FlexJet and Vistajet. If you prefer Holiday Inn Expresses, Homewood Suites and HGIs to full service Marriott and Hiltons you might be ok.. Of course, you'll have to access to cardboard breakfasts and be located in an industrial area. But what the heck... at least you can upgrade into a Phenom.

Man, blanket statements and rushing to judgment are so much fun, aren’t they?
Sure, there have been some markets with drastic changes, I’ve also heard of other markets with no changes. Then there seem to be some markets where hotels are a downgrade in some ways, and improvements in others. The union has been addressing those markets with major issues, and it appears there is movement from the company fixing them. The results of how they are to be addressed is still to be seen. Most importantely, we are still waiting for the official list of hotels for the year. I think I’ve seen discussion on maybe a dozen hotels, of the 300 top markets on the list, that have been deemed a downgrade by the masses. Maybe it’s just me, but I’ll wait to judge the extent of the damage to the hotel list until the final list is released. If the official list bears out the fact that we are now stuck at all the lesser hotels, then sure let’s throw up our hands in despair. But until then, blanket statements that we are now being subjected to hotels of “far less quality” than our counterparts seems a stretch. I know of markets that Flexjet stays in hotels of lesser quality than we do (or at least did, we’ll have to wait for the hotel list to drop), but a handful of hotels does not mean that there should be a blanket statement that Flexjet’s hotels are of far less quality than Netjets.

If there is no big change, then why is the Union sending out emails and making announcements saying they have identified it as a problem? Seems pretty obvious to me.

LAS was the Renaissance, for a couple of decades. Now a Homewood Suites near Henderson. DFW was a Hyatt. Now a Cambria Suites west of the airport with nothing around. Just two examples where many choices are available. We’re not talking about small markets with few choices.
