Anything is possible. But, it’s gonna take more than just six months and reapply I would assume. They would likely want to see some kind of professional development. They’re training really isn’t set up like a regional either. It definitely is tailored to having professional pilot experience already. Probably why they are so reliant on the sim evaluation during interviews. Not your standard Flight Safety type rating course either… A lot of company box checking mixed in with training.

I know of at least 2 who left and came back when the grass wasn't really greener for their circumstances. I know if another who lost his medical long enough to be fired and then recently came back at the bottom of the list after getting his medical back more than 3 years after initially losing it. I haven't heard of anyone failing or leaving during initial training and getting another chance. Honestly, I would say it is very unlikely unless they simply can't find anyone else and get really desperate, unless there was some kind of really good reason the first time- like a family emergency or death in the family.

Thanks for the replies. I am not looking at reapplying right this minute, maybe over the summer. I have been working on some of the items I struggled with at the time, and when i was training i did learn my brother had been diagnosed with an aggressive lung cancer and has just passed away. I have reached out to some that i had contact with in the company and asked if there was anything i could work on, and if it would even be possible to be rehired there. So, maybe he will get back with me. If it seems impossible then i will move on. Dont want to waste my time or theirs.
