NetJets receives first Global Express 6000
The Global 6000 was flown to Orlando for the NBAA convention, it will be flown back to Montreal for some finishing touches before officially being handed over to Netjets in a couple of weeks...
"The aircraft is part of the 50-ship firm order for Global business jets placed by NetJets back in March 2011, along with options for 70 more. The firm orders include a mix of 30 Global 5000 and 6000 jets, plus 20 examples of the under-development Global 7000 and 8000 long-range jets. The $6.7 billion Global contract was subsequently topped by NetJets’s $9.6 billion deal in June 2012 for up to 275 Challengers"

My understanding is that they are parking Hawkers and Beechjets as they receive Globals and Phenom 300's.

Phenoms will eventually replace other entry level models..... The other 9+ billion dollar order for Challengers and Citation Lattitudes should eventually replace most everything in the middle... Will there be a net gain or loss of further aircraft?? That is the million dollar question of which nobody will know for many more years as most orders will not start for another 3-5 years..
Ordering and replacing older airframes is absolutely nothing new in the fractional business. NJA didn't have to give up anything to receive this one Global. It's the nature of the beast. Unfortunately the downturn has made the starting point much lower airframe wise.

kingairfun is spot on
Simple logic: and keeping in mind some of these will go to NJE, i do see us shrinking more, but this is what I come up with,
Globals 5000/6000- replace the G-IVs
Globals 7000/8000- replace the G-V/550
CL605- the DA2000s
CL300- Xs and G200s
phenom 300- light jets
Latitudes- hawkers
The rumor is all Gulfstreams will be gone by 2016,
