Bad Times—Relative Effect
For those who were around for the last economic downturn...what was the relative effect of bad times at a 121 vs. a 135/frac? Particularly at a regional 121, since I assume (perhaps incorrectly) the effect would be greater than at a major.
For example, does a downturn affect the “masses” (121) more than the average 135/frac passenger? If so, how does it show up in daily ops?

I was doing a side gig as a 135 cargo CP during the last recession. We went from 5 flights/week to one every other month in the span of a month. Also, you usually don't have the luxury of seniority at 135. At a 121 the more pilots behind you the safer you are.
Not sure about fractionals. Usually, the first thing cut by businesses are flight departments.
