You will find more information in the 121 charter forum. While Elite has regional flying throughout the U.S., it is not a code share airline in the "regional" sense. All our scheduled service routes are performed by us.

Hi Folks... First off I am not a pilot at Elite Airways... I do know people that are there and people who have been there... The primary biz is 121 Supp/Charter... They do operate some 135 with a CRJ200/CL850... They operate some schedule service also under their own brand... Pilots are home based... Pilots are salaried... Med Ins is provided for the pilot and available for purchase for family coverage... Word is it is average... As a primary biz op being "charter" schedules are adhoc and thus subject to change... The Company Check Airmen and sim Instructor have been on the CRJ for ages and are very good... Base of operation for MX and Training is MLB... HQ Portland... Biggest plus for most is "Home Based" and small pilot group... Biggest down no set schedule... If you are ATP rated may be a option... There are a number of very good people/captains there... That's my 10 yen...

Thanks Kampai! Have a friend that left a while back and glad to have an update. Do you have hard time off? Is the APC page still about right on pay? Hasn't been updated for a few years and seems they would have to offer more to retain people...

Hey ContApp
Yeah the profile looks about right... Not sure on "hard days off" buddy just said during the off season lots of time at home... During Charter Season pretty busy... Last I heard starting/ 1st year pay 60K First Officer and 90K Captain... No DEC everybody joins as First Officer these days... Always subject to change... This info was from six months ago... If interested send a CV... Doesn't cost you anything but time... When they get back to you use the interview as a fact finding chat for you too... Have a list of questions you have too... Best of luck...

Well this post should make Mr. McFatty happy... Latest at Elite they appear to be in cash/credit crunch... As of 31 July they are 3 paychecks behind with payroll... There is a "Notice" for rent due 60,992 on MLB office and if not paid by 10 Aug they will seize the building and contents... The last class held on 23 May the 3 pilots that did not get to sim were furloughed... The Assistant DO who has been with the Company since the start resigned Mid July... Lots of good people in not so good position due to Sr. Management poor management... Hopefully those individuals contacted for the 9 Aug class did not leave their current employment cause looks like no 9 Aug class will happen... That's all I have for now...

Hi Folks... Well not looking good for the folks at Elite Airways... Word is no airplanes moving, not surprising being the last paycheck to general employees was the 15 June paycheck... So that makes them 5 paychecks behind... Word is one of the Aircraft Lessors took back some of their aircraft so not sure what the fleet will look like if they ever do get a cash influx and attempt a restart... Sorry for the good folks there who have been kinda screwed... If they do get up and running again I myself would steer clear unless a TOTAL change in Sr. Management... Just my 10 Yen...
