Just to let you know, RAH does not have a base in Cleveland. However, a huge chunk of our overnights are in CLE. I have heard rumors of a base in CLE, but like I said...completely a rumor, and I have no idea whether it is even in the works or not. Good luck on your decision!

I don't see this one going anywhere productive.

No CLE base for RAH.

Determine your priorities among these factors:

1) Where you'd be living/based and commuting issues
2) Pay/Work rules
3) Equipment
4) Industry reputation
5) Expected career progression/upgrade/where people go when they leave
6) How well others like working for each company
7) How well you think the company will fare in this dog eat dog world (usually anybody's guess, but use your crystal ball if you have it)

See which one does the best among your top priorities. Remember what is right for others is not necessarily right for you. Good luck.

thanks, all things I will consider for sure. Let me put it another way. Which of these companies do you think is the best in overall quality? I suppose pay, contract, and longevity would be the biggest factors here. Looks to me from some research that XJT has the best pay/contract out of them all, but what about longevity.....upgrade may not be as quick, but I know you can't really chase the upgrade since it changes so much...

The quality of a contract is in the eye of the beholder and since we dont and cant publish contracts on this site, saying that XJT has the best contract is heresay. And in reality a contract means very little as the courts have shown the ability and guille to throw out a contract at the request of managment.

that is true, however I have a lot of friends at RAH and Commutair and many of the great things we can do with our work rules they have never even heard of or wish they could do. Don't get me wrong, both great places to be, and both have much clearer futures than we do. I'm just saying as long as we still have work for our a/c no complaints here at XJT.
