Just got a call from Commutair.....
 

Just got a call from Commutair.....my interview is next week......anyone have any idea of when their next class starts or when they might offer me the job after the interview (is it normally right then and there?)
Also, I've been hearing things about Commutair's future. Anyone know about the rumor of them taking some of Delta's Comair flights out of BOS? Their DCH-8's? Current upgrade times?, etc....

I had a buddy whos at Expressjet now, who loved Commutair, good bunch of guys and everybody and I mean everybody i talk to says the 1900 is a blast to fly, but also said after about 3 months you get very tired of 8 legs a day to the same small airports, but other than that, no complaints about the company itself, good luck and haver fun I got a call from Commutair a year ago and they didnt want to interview me:( , Have fun brotha

If you dont mind my asking how long ago did you apply? I am thinking of applying and my current situation doesnt provide alot of opportunities to go to an interview without some careful planning.:D Go USAF!!! hahaha

The resume was walked-in, so I don't know if this applies to you, but it was about a week ago.

Ok, here we go,
-no word yet on the DAL flying
-DHC8's first flight sheduled for Feb 1st
-They told us two things, 1st if keep the Beech and use it for DAL flying until they get more DHC8's upgrades could be as little as 8 months:eek: More likely 12-14months
-two classes next month 9th and 15th, supposed to still be a Nov+Dec class too
-Generally they offer you a position that day, if they drug test you its a good thing.
-Good Luck.... I wish I was going to be there but I have a week off before the Sim so I want, also word of advice I assume will be staying at the Best Western, don't forget to make your way down to the lobby in the afternoon they bake fresh cookies, really good stuff.
