Theres the high road of following principles, and there's road that will get you the experience you need. Do what you feel is right, pay no attention to anyone else

That's pretty stupid advice. Do your research, and that includes talking and listening to other peers that have knowledge with Lakes. It's a lot like reading reviews on something you want to buy. Would you give the same advice for that?

I would also add, research customer reviews and their history of loan defaults. If you want to be part of that kind of environment it's your choice, but I wouldn't call it "taking the high road".

99% of the comments on this forum are heavily prejudiced for what ever reason. Give the man an unbiased, objective bit of advice, let him decide. I personally would never go there, but his situation is unique to him. He's looking for experience, not a long time commitment.

I agree to a point. That's why I said research beyond this forum.

Barely. Down to 8 cities. Lost most of EAS contracts.

I used to fly for Boutique and it seemed like we were constantly taking their routes.

Is that who is flying those EAS routes out of MSP now?

I'm only curious as the captain I'm flying with used to fly there a long time ago. We were discussing it as I haven't seen a Lakes plane flying. I know awhile back they were looking for a waiver on their flight time requirements, whatever happened to that?

You still see the occasional Great Lakes 1900 taxi out at Sky Harbor, but it's not common.
