Silver Airways EMB145

I heard rumors Silver is transitioning to the EMB 145 and will need EMB 145 contract pilot.

Anyone know anymore about this or what contract agency Silver will be using and how far in the future this will take place?

Thanks.

Probably one final attempt at being attractive to new hires before shutdown. Commuting to IAD for saab reserve as a new hire is not acceptable to most people.

It was a deal breaker for me. The one big advantage Silver has is they are local to me (FLL). If I have to commute why not go with another regional that pays better and flies jets...

Nobody is going to be commuting to IAD if hired today.

Also no on the 145s

Are all of the bases available immediately out of training (FLL TPA MCO) or only some. Also if you know how many people in each class are still being sent to IAD. Thanks
