Default Grand Canyon Airlines

Hello guys!

Any GCA pilot around? I had a phone interview a couple of days ago for a March 31st class, and I'd love to get some "fresh" details about the company.

Some guys had to pass a written test and a simulator, but some people did not apparently.

I've been reading interviews and information from the forums from the last 10-12 years, but nothing from the last 1.5-2 years, so I don't know how the process looks nowadays, if it's changed or if stays the same.

I know the twin otter ground school is at boulder city, or it used to be.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Hey Javichu, you got a job offer from Puerto Rico and a phone call from GCA? Nice going!

There are several good videos on YouTube on how to start a Twin Otter. They taught me how to start a Twin Otter and they might be helpful for you too.

I just accepted an offer from them to fly the C208. Interview was with two of the senior guys. I did not have a sim, had to brief an approach, read a TAF and METAR, and answer some scenario based questions. It went well. We have indoc on the 31st.
