In Ankeny, Iowa is apparently in total collapse after the just fired D/O David M. and Chief Pilot Tony both were fired. Sent guys home from upgrade training on the BeechJet at CAE, sold off all but two airplanes. Apparently the deep pockets real estate developer owner is tired of watching his son **** away money and having to write checks for it all.
Too bad, they had a good business going after I helped them get re-certified and flying again in late 2015. They brought in David Michael and like apparently everything else he's touched, it turned to crap.

That place has always been a **** show as long as I've been around. I CFI'd there for one month 10 years ago. It didn't take long to realize the type of person ole Barney was. I promptly left for a much better job in the state.
The thing with Boesen and his passing was terrible. Then after that the last guys falsifying training records, a year or two
ago, and losing their certificate. You know the same airport that has a FSDO right. Next. Door.... I don't know how you can get any dumber.
