In Wenatchee we have two lear 31a aircraft some Lear 35s a Lear 60 two Aero Commanders and a Challenger 600. The air ambulance side is all Lear 35s, They seem to have hired regularly into Seattle, but it is getting competitive since everyone is furloughing. Again it seems to be a pretty stable company and seems better then alot of other jobs.

Have to agree with Skyhigh, "Stay Away !!! Low pay, criminal hours, minimal flight time. It would be a good opportunity for someone with low time to get a break but in the long run you would be much better off going to a regional."

Turned down an interview when they sent a pay scale and schedule. Lots of "on call" and low pay.

May be good for the right person but not me.

Can anyone who works there (or has before) verify if they type you in the A/C initially?

Also, does anyone know what the call out time is when on call?

Thanks!

Quick and dirty version. Depends on getting typed initially. In Seattle or Juneau, yes(they only fly lears). If in Wenatche, most likely not, you'll start in the commander, unless need dictates the lear.

Regarding on call times. EAT is diff. from BFI. EAT is four 30 minute call outs a month, 4 one hour call outs a month, and the rest are two hour call outs.

Don't view it as a time building job, more of a quaity of life gig. All in all, not bad if you can make it work for yourself. Not everbody can.

Do they still have the policy that you are on call all day long, and then when
they call you for a trip, thats when your duty day starts?

Who called you back? Your family or Executive Flight? Did you talk to someone there and get any additional information?

I didn't think they had a King Air in the fleet, just a turbo commander?
