Being based in Boston vs Miami that is, both are crazy expensive!

Default please stay away

hey guys, I am a veteran of SKZ. I ask and advise you all to go someplace else. I know it can be hard with low time but if you're able to stick it out and make a better informed and less panicked decision you will be much better off down the line. I was a CFI and getting pretty got under the collar doing pattern work and took the first 135 that would hire me at 350 hrs and I paid for it for two years, physically and financially. the management will lie to you, they will force that contract over you to get what they want, and will threaten to suspend you without pay if you act out at all, I.E. call the FAA, tell them you're about to bust duty time, etc..

I'm here to help if anyone has any specific questions about them or any other different carrier you're considering, but my straight recommendation is to stay away from skyway

Good luck

I agree. I worked there years ago and was let go for refusing to fly an aircraft that was unairworthy. On final we lost both engines and managed to glide the aircraft in. The next day Tommy Loumankin told us to fly the aircraft no mx check or anything and i refused he said i had a bad attitude and fired me. Hasnt hurt me one bit.

My advice to anyone is the same as what i was told but didnt listen, stay the hell away from that dump. Also they had a crash a few years back with 2 fatalities. Dont gamble with your life or certificates

I have also watched guys get SEVERELY verbally abused (cussed out) duty time limits broken, you forced to fly in dangerous conditions, etc. Please go anywhere but here!
