One southeast fixed wing base is Valdosta, Georgia. I'm not sure if it has closed down or not. Interview is with a couple of helicopter pilots. One is the regional director. Get to know you type, and some VFR questions. FAR/AIM stuff like airspace and speeds, distance from clouds to remain VFR. They want to know if you can fly single pilot into difficult airspace.
