Of course. But I would say, as a general rule (there are obviously exceptions here with some 135 SIC jobs), 135 SIC/PIC experience is much much more valuable than CFI time when considering the workload in air carrier training.

The guys who are CFIs just to build time who don't enjoy it are useless garbage, and someone saying you should get one and if you don't you lack motivation etc is just plain wrong.

I didn't go there judging anyone's work ethic. There some value skills that are gained CFIing that will translate well into a 121 crew environment that isn't necessary directed to just having a good stick.

Is it really 500? I know in the past, I saw a listing for red stripe with something similarly low-time, and never saw it again and see the standard 1500 and other minimums.

Default Alaska is an option..

What would you say about that? I believe Hageland is the name of the company.

I'd go to Hageland in a heartbeat but I don't think it's an option for me anymore after I took my current job and decided not to wait for a class date with them
