I'm still a freight puppy, but curious about how the Barons and PC-12's are equipped as far as avionics/autopilot? EFB or paper charts? thanks.

We use iPads for charts, W&B, and documents. iPads are assigned to each pilot and spare iPads are kept in the office.

The Baron's have a wide array of avionics; from an old KLN GPS to Garmin 530 with LPV & ADS-B in/out. All our aircraft have autopilot. Each baron has a yoke mounted Garmin with XM radio and weather.

Our first PC-12 is just about to leave the factory with our new glass cockpit upgrade. By sometime next year, we should have all PC-12s standardized with glass cockpit, LPV, ADS-B in/out, and Sirius XM radio & weather. I will post pictures when it is complete.

Sounds good. I have G600/G1000 experience, very comfortable with that. Is Caravan single pilot time competitive for Quest? Not looking to apply yet, but just curious.

Well, the Pilatus is a single engine turboprop. So...

I have a phone call tomorrow set up for KDAL. Is the first call just the initial "this is us and what we offer" sorta call? I applied 2 months ago and heard crickets. Already Phenom 100 typed and flying it single pilot. Over 5500 TT with my entire career being single pilot 135.

Yes, first call is just to get to know you and see when you can do a ride-a-long. 2 months ago they hired a couple phenom typed guys, and another pilot just left.

Great job, great benefits. But it's no secret that you'll earn your paycheck.

I've moved on to the regionals, but I still speak well of Quest. And if you're a hard worker, then it's probably the right job for you.

Thanks for the reply. I'm currently located in the PNW and there are really no routes around me. I've heard the pay has gone up substantially. Is that true? I mean I may find out soon as my phone call is in 15 minutes, but hey. I thought I'd ask. I love night flying. Know Texas like the back of my hand and have flown into all the airports on the routes. I'm for sure not afraid to work and I really like to.
