Yearly salary. You get paid the same regardless the amount of flying done.

I’m thinking of applying. I’m never been on per deim before, being s corporate pilot I’ve always been on company cc for expenses. How do the daily meals work at Wheels Up and does company cover transportation to hotels and such. Thanks.

Per diem is like a company credit card with a $69 per day limit that you get regardless of what you spend. You submit a timesheet with X days on it. They pay you X times the per diem rate. No receipts necessary, your timesheet is all you need. You don’t even have to spend any money at all, you can save it, if you want..

Per deim is 59 a day (65 for any day you land outside the US). You don’t submit receipts for this, it is yours regardless of how much you actually spend on food. The per deim rates aren’t prorated for the first day and last day of tour either. 8 days of tour X 59 = 472 non taxed per deim.
If you have quick turns all day and don’t have time to go find food, the company will pay for Uber eats or any other delivery service (this is in addition to your 59 a day).
Transportation is normally Uber or Lyft and you use your company issued credit card for these.
Hotel and flight reservations are automatically made by the company and you pay with your company issued credit card.
Anything that goes on your company credit card has to go on an expense report and matched with a receipt which can be a pain in the butt, but it’s not that bad once you get the hang of it.

You get $59 a day you are on duty. If you work a normal 8 day tour, you get $472 deposited into your checking account for the per diem. Of course they pay for transportation to and from hotels.

I understand that the company pays for medical insurance for entire family. What are the deductibles and copays for office visits and medications? My wife has done medical issues that require specialist and a few medications. Thanks
