Everyone who is hired as an FO now is evaluated approaching their 1 year anniversary for upgrade. Don’t expect it sooner.

I seem to remember reading either in this thread or on the company site that if you are not eligible for upgrade you will still be evaluated and if successful your pay will upgrade but you will continue to fly as SIC until mins?
Wondering if it would be better for me to go somewhere to get more multi as well. I have under 100 ME time.
How much actual flying would an SIC get per month?

So if you do not meet these mins by the end of 12 months you will not get evaluated for PIC?

I average about between 500 to 600 hours per year. Without going to a regional, I don't know of many places where you could get somewhere in the range of 50 hours of ME in a month. If you do, it might not hurt to go somewhere to get ME time first, but mostly just because it would help get you hired. However, if you are going to be logging about the same ME time and can get on here now, I would say its better to build the time in the King Air and develop a history with the company and I would expect they would try to get you a waiver. Maybe not right at a year, but before you meet the ME "minimums".
