Current info request
Can anyone provide info on the current state of operations? I'm looking at PHX and would like to know if that is a domicile, how often are you getting overnights, any scheduling woes and is it just the EMB-135? I see they are advertising for pilots for the Phenom 300 as well.
I tried emailing corporate and they pretty much said that since they are so busy, they can only answer questions if you are a candidate. I'd like to know these things before I consider becoming a candidate.

Not hiring into PHX or SoCal currently on the X side. Schedules are going to be almost all-day trips. Fleet is only 135 and 145s. Very limited hiring on the Air side as well.

Completely doing away with per diem seems pretty extreme and unlikely. I have heard (might have been on here) that they may be moving into a more tradition per diem system. Hourly based, like the 121 world. Decreasing pay by $55 a day would certainly not be attractive to current or future pilots.

Per-diem will not be touched with the schedule changes, as per the latest discussions in last months' call. It is here to stay.

Friend of my who works there (JSX) said the latest bid period is going to minimum day schedule. 14 days per month with the introduction of day trips. Due to pilot concerns they plan to add some 16 day lines but stay away from anything above that to avoid paying any extra incentive pay. I guess he was working consistently 19 days a month and now going to 14 will cost him $2800.00 per month. As much as this sucks for the pilots this is how a company becomes profitable. I guess the good thing is if you only work 14 days a month you have plenty of time to work part time someone else or do contract flying.
