Default Rennia Aviation

We go to GNV a lot and noticed an operator occupying the old Jet Charter Club facilities. I’m told it’s Rennia Aviation and no one seems to know if there’s any link to the infamous former tenants. We’re always looking for supplemental lift for when our jet is down for maintenance or pilots at sim training. Anyone have knowledge of or any feedback on this operator?

I do not think they are related to Jet Charter Club. I know one of their pilots, but she’s based out of FXE I believe. She seems to like it there. I’ve reached out to them a couple times and never heard back, not about booking a flight though so I cannot comment on that.

Anyone currently working at Rennia willing to comment on the realities of working there? Please advise. Thanks in advance.

I worked there as a captain on a Falcon 2000. The company is growing (rapidly) and has amassed 8-9 DA2000’s. They also have a 900, two 50’s, one or two Hawkers, a Challenger, and some light citation jets. They will hire low-timers, no jet timers, etc for the SICs. Depending on experience and whether they have an ATP, the SICs will either get a full PIC type rating or an SIC type rating. Schedules have changed, some say for the better. Medical benefits have improved, and they now have a 401K. There are systemic issues within the organization that I hope will be resolved…with time. Sales and certain brokers have too much control and many times they cram in as many trips as they can in a 14 hour duty day with short turns between flights which results in min rest. Crews get rental cars now as the norm due to an accident in an Uber which almost killed the captain. Hotels are mid-tier Marriott/Hilton, but the crews can dispute to get in a better hotel location-wise if done in advance. Per Diem is fair at $75/day domestic. Crews get credit cards. Cabin Attendants are on the 135 flights. Daily rate has been increased if you fly on an off day.
