Dumont Aviation
I'm looking for anyone that knows what life is like at Dumont as a captain on the Falcon 2000. Also any info on the interview and sim ride?
I have lots of questions about the company and hopefully they will be answered at the interview.
Thanks for all the help in advance.

Thank for the replay. Couple of questions. Do they have schedulers that do the catering, hotel and planning? Or does the captain do all that... Do they pay for KCM, airport parking or uber and uniforms? Do they pay your salary while at training?
Thanks so much for any input you can give. Anything else you want to tell me about the company...

Catering, if the client requests or broker requests, is taken care of Operations.
Hotel, rental car, whatever else the crew needs is done by the Crew. We like it that way.
Planning as in Flight planning? We use FLTplan.com for our filing domestic and all that. International depending one where, we use JetEx for trip planning and handlers at all locations that require it, certain parts of Mexico, Dominican, South America.
Uniforms are going to be a tax write off for you. White Shirt, black pants, company provided tie.
KCM and Medical are paid for by company.
Airport parking is not, (12 days on = lots of money) Uber or park at an FBO.
Salary is as agreed upon and paid from day 1 of INDOC. (Comes before FSI training)

2000 and 50 guys just wear white shirts and company tie. Under 91 trips just a black polo and black pants. G4 guys for some reason wear the stripes. I operate all over and I've never had to wear stripes. Someone said that you need the epaulets internationally... Ive found that to NOT be the case. YMMV.

Not sure, but keep applying. I’d offer to help you out but I’m 0/2 with getting friends on. I think having my name as a reference is detrimental to ones aviation career...
I’ve stalked the above poster and followed him from 135 to 135, maybe it’s his fault?
Life as a 2000 CA is fairly good here. I’m coming up on 3 years and have seen quite a few changes since I was an FO on the Hawkers.
I don’t have much to add other than what was already said. We enjoy a good QOL on the road and the majority of us are happy(ish). Lots of future expansion and the 2000 fleet will be hiring for the forseeble future I am told.
