Bering did pick up the slack & some pilots. The captains they hired all have at a minimum 3k+ hrs in western AK with time in type (Navajo & 208 as PIC) & an ATP with recommendations from pilots flying for Bering. They also picked up a couple of SIC's. Bering has always very selective and with current times there is a pool of talent to draw from.
