Default JSX

Does anyone have information on schedules and QOL for JSX? They only have a couple bases and routes so I am trying to figure out if this is a home every night job.

Schedules are usually either 8/6, 7/7, or 4/3 that you bid every 2 months. Occasionally there will be some strange combination thrown in depending on what is needed for that bid period.

The number of overnights varies from a couple to all the days of your rotation, it's pretty inconsistent, although scheduling will try to accommodate requests for more or fewer overnights. It used to be primarily home every night gig in the beginning, but with the growth going on that's unlikely to be the case in the future.

Typical day is 3/4 legs, hotels are nice, and you get crew meals on top of your per-diem if you fly at least 3 legs with less than a 90 minute sit in between (deadheads count too).

Lots of info on this thread https://www.airlinepilotforums.com/p...etsuite-x.html

Default Cass Participanr JSX

The Airline Profile for JSX says Cass Participant.

Does that mean you have some J/S agreements with other airlines or other Cass airlines are allowed to J/S on JSX ?

If you do have J/S agreements can you say with who?

Your info is greatly appreciated.

List is growing. Includes Atlas and Kalitta, Spirit, jetBlue, Frontier and many smaller cargo carriers. Open CASS participant for OAL - anyone in CASS can jump on JSX.

Actually yes. Our Jumpseat coordinators have been working pretty steadily to build those relationships. Hopefully with the addition of new bases and operating stations, more agreements will be coming

No training contract but the signing bonus has a 1 year commitment attached. Haven't seen them enforce it but also haven't seen anyone leave before a year

If I recall, the bonus is deferrable so as to avoid owing anything??

Hey all - thank you for all the great info on this thread... couple questions... I know as of a few months ago X was not hiring FOs. Has there been any movement on that? When do you think they will be looking for FOs again? Also, what is the average hours per month FOs are seeing on the X side?

I am thinking about throwing an app in.. although I am a bit below the mins... I am at 850TT, 15 multi, current CFII
