Yes, they will lie to you and be careful about even asking about it. If you leave, they will come after you and lie about what they told you in the first place.
Ex Express jet management team and so really bad characters. When there is an exodus it’s because it gets to a point where people can’t take it anymore.
The owner is a real piece of work. While he cut salaries and jobs, he was partying like it was 1999 in the Bahamas.

In my year there, on the erj, I wasn't lied to once.
Ex-expressjet? Yes. Bad characters? They were all super professionals to me.
Exodus nowadays is the norm everywhere. People want to make more money and have better QOL.
Owner is a gentleman. I remember having dinner with him and the DO, and it was a great night.
With that being said, it's a part 135 and they will work you hard and pay you crap, like most 135s out there.

I’d like to get some info on the CRJ operation HPN-FLL
# of days on/off per mo.
Are trips out and back?
Approx # of hours logged per mo?
Upgrade time to left seat?
If anyone could connect me with someone flying that line it would be appreciated! Thanks!

Currently 10, they're hoping to get to 12 soon as they increase staffing.
Are trips out and back?
Many trips are between New York and Florida, it is common to fly anywhere from 1-3 legs in a day. There are also sometimes charters where you fly to other locations.
Approx # of hours logged per mo?
The last few months as they're under staffed pilots have gotten over 120 hours, 80+ seems common.
Upgrade time to left seat?
You have to reach 3000 hours to upgrade.

CRJ talks about his experience. Zero lies. And I make it sound like it was for me, great. So don't try to say the opposite.
I specifically talked about MY experience and MY fleet. And my relationship with management. Still many friends there. So maybe there's something wrong with you after all.

It's definitely possible but they take pilots out of their base all the time. You'll very likely be covering other routes that are short of pilots. It used to be a good deal from the sense that you were home almost every night but that's not the case anymore.

I was the second FO hired by CFM to fly the ERJ and I don't really think we ever crossed paths. Based on your other posts, you left Contour for Mesa, then Southern/Atlas...? Have I got that right? Its a small company and I don't personally remember anyone who ever took that career path.
Where were you based?

Based in BUF, briefly, then PHX. How about you?
