I’d avoid them. Buddy applied with them 1000+ Hawker time and they offered him SIC spot. Needless to say he turned it down. Next day they again were advertising a Hawker PIC position he called them back they say “it’s only SIC”. Rumor they get you to sign 1 year contract pay you SIC wages then promote you next month or two to PIC and refuse to renegotiate pay under the pretext they have to get approval from aircraft owner.

All of the above correct. I was offered PIC in Hawker for under market rate. They wanted a $20,000 contract for me to do recurrent.

I explained to their HR person that I had just done recurrent for another 135 a few months prior and would only have to do a quick recurrent under their certificate. She still wanted a $20k loan / contract.

Good companies do not need to hold you hostage.

THIS!

Good companies treat their people like valuable assets and incentive them to stay.

So many other options these days. Even a regional would be better than many of these 135 operators...

Heard from a buddy there, they offer the 8/6 but no vacation and a 12% pay cut. A lot of guys leaving or are really fed up with management. No good health, dental 401k nothing. Must avoid.
