If you tell yourself that enough, youll eventually believe it

Ya' know? Just because it isn't the perfect option for you doesn't mean it isn't for someone else.

So in the famous words of Sgt Hulka, "Lighten up, Francis."

Quest. Not a perfect gig but like I said home every night weekends and holidays off. And six figure year one pay.

I'd love to get into Quest... Doesn't seem to be any openings near me. I do think it would be a good gig.

You do need to live in base which our main ones are RDG and LZU. We do have a PIC slot open out of RDG and we are all filled in LZU. It’s seems like we have an opening once or twice a year throughout the system.

According to their requirements on the website, I don’t quite meet them. I don’t have 500 hours multi engine (I have 60), and no experience in a PC-12, Phenom, or King Air. This is of course for a Capt/PIC... not sure the requirements for a SIC if they have them.

Tradewind Aviation is hiring. Great QoL, decent pay, good benefits. I like it here a great deal and it’s a really good fit for me.

We recently hired two SIC that had around 800 hours total with their multi commercial. That seems to be the norm. However I was hired at 1700~ hours with a couple hundred hours of pc12 PIC time as a SIC to learn the position and upgraded about 3 months later so it varies on the time but I’d say 800-1200 hours is the sweet spot. ( fun fact I made a tad more as an SIC at Quest than I did as a pc12 PIC at my last job)

This is a ridiculous statement. There are some great 135 jobs out there. I left the regionals for part 135 flying six years ago. My pay and QOL sky rocketed. I still make more now then what I would be if I stayed at the regional and I would be on 9 year captain pay.
