Island Air Service Kodiak, AK
I heard through the grape vine that Island Air Service was hiring pilots for the 2020 spring/summer season. Does anyone have experience working for this 135 outfit? I have heard good things about the in house training program, particularly good for pilots without Alaska experience.
Considering passing along a resume but wanted to see if people had first hand experience with the outfit.
Thanks for the help!

Appreciate the information that members of the forum messaged me about Island Air last year that helped me get hired. Late winter/ spring hiring season is here once again and island air is looking for 2-3 Cherokee 6 pilots for 2021 season and beyond.

Island Air Express doesn't run cherokee 6 so question was on that - but then I realized this was about Island Air Service I've kept an eye on Island Air Express - would be a great opportunity to go fly wheels and move into the Caravan amphib. I have Caravan AK time and a float rating but not the 100's of hrs of float time.
The Island Air Service job looks like a great experience for someone.
