Jet Linx

Can anyone currently employed at Jet Linx give me information on their experience and QOL? I’m considering a PIC position.

Typical legs per day, how many days at home on average, the good, the bad, etc.?

Your information and thoughts will help tremendously.

Thank you!

Just had a Jet Linx guy in training. He made the comment that it very much depends on where you are and who the owner is. Total crap shoot on how it turns out.

What location are you interviewing for?

Are Jet Linx positions home based or you must live in the base that is offered on their open positions list? TIA

You must live close to the base. I have to be able to get the plane airborne within 3 hours of a call. Usually that entails about a 1.5 hour show if departing with passengers, or a 1 hour show if leaving empty. We are assigned to our tail numbers, hence no commuting. That short callout has not been a common occurrence in my experience, but mileage may vary.

Has anyone been getting contacted by HR/recruitment when they apply? Applied for a recently posted position about a month ago and haven’t heard a thing. When I check the application status through their 3rd party vendor (jobvite.com) it just says “In Process”. Contemplating if I should try to make contact with them, but also not sure how since they don’t have any contact info available on their website. Has anyone else contacted their recruiters with any luck?

They've got their own definition of "home-based".
