Air Cargo Carriers is calling.....What should I say?
 

I appled last year at Air Cargo Carriers when I recieved my MEL rating. Last week, they called me every single day, sometimes up to three times a day! Something is fishy, anyone have any info on them (other than what APC says)?

turbine time, thats good, funny story, 7 or 8 yrs ago I was coming out of CWA going down to MKE in a C310 hauling checks, one of thier shorts came off right behind me and checked on with chic. center. controller gave him alt setting and said he showed 1500' low. his response was , "we shut one down due to low oil press, can we get 5000' for a final tonite?" like it was just everyday occurance for them!!! Controller paused and says , say intentions , to which he replys, were going to MKE , just cant make 7000' . honest to god story.

Yea, I am hearing alot of that kind of stuff.

Last I know of is they are good, do a lot of UPS contracts, and some on-demand. You will be flying a semi-truck with wings, and multi-turbine.

Anyone know if the pay on APC is current and correct?

I heard thats about the right. They called you every day sometimes three times a day??? That sounds like they are in some serious shortage of pilots. Hmm... sounds nice I must say. You mind if I ask how much total and mulit did you have when you applied?

Looking back in the log: 261TT with 48 multi. I have around 400 now but 261 is what they have on my resume........

I got 358TT and 30 Multi. ACC fit my needs perfectly. I want a company that only flies domestic flights cause my visa doesn't allow me to travel in and out of US. I'm praying day and night for ACC to call me, but unfortunately they don't. If they interview and offer me a job I will take it in a heart beat regardless of where they base me.

What are the minimums for Air cargo carriers?

500TT and 50 Multi, but no minimums for pilots that get recomanded by company pilots.
