This past month we had some pilots hit the 165 hour mark. However, starting in November it will slow down a little, but with pilot attrition it shouldn't be tough to hit the 90 hour a month mark.

There is no training contract. Average stay depends on total time. Many low timers stick it out until they hit between 600 and 1000 tt and move on to a regional (skywest and expressjet seem to be popular choices). Some stick around for the upgrade to log TPIC in hopes of landing a corporate gig or someplace like Allegiant. Very few have made the jump straight to a major even with a few thousand TPIC.

Stable, retired from a, which included 10 years in managment, yuk, 30 year career, non drinker, non smoker.
Ah I can hear it now. Looking for someone younger, no someone trainable, or whatever.
See ya, Bub

Well that is good news. I have 3 years till retirement, plan on doing commercial SEL/MEL the spring of 08. Then start out on a second career. I would like to be able to fly for 15 years or so. Right seat, left seat wouldn't really matter. So we'll see what the market brings 4 years from now.
Thanks for the info, Bub
