It's actually staffed by the DFW metro reserve pilots. So the way to get on it is get into a metro in DFW. Seniority is mixed. Right now there are 4 metro pilots in Dallas. Two are VERY senior and two under about 2 years.

Which aircraft fly out of PHX as a base? Any possibility of getting to PHX out of training? Don't really care what a/c.

99s, 1900s, Metros, and a Brasilia.

You'd have to ask Sheri in the phone interview or in person interview if they need pilots out there, but you'd probably need a lot of multi time or turbine. Most PHX positions are filled internally. Most people are going into the PA31 for BUR, HWD, or PDX.
After they do their time in the Chieftain at one of those bases then people fill out domicile requests with FLT Dept.

Is the payscale on the Ameriflight profile pretty accurate? I noticed it hasn't been updated for a year.

Thanks FD!

I have 7000+ total, 1000 Turbo Prop PIC(MTOW 25,000), 1100 Jet PIC, 5 type ratings, etc. etc... I think I'd meet the requirements, but just curious I could go straight into PHX. Oh I also have 304 PIC in the PA31-350 under Part 135.

Is it okay to actually call her directly? I don't want to shoot myself before I walk through the door.:D

Again, thanks for the help!:)

We haven't had a payscale change in almost 4 years. Yes, it's accurate.

Sorry, I don't think you are qualified. You don't have enough flight time. lol

ATOP40 11-17-2012 07:38 AM

I am working real hard to get my time in to qualify for maybe getting an interview at AMF. Sometimes I get curious about somethings while I am waiting for that time to come. I always appreciate the time you guys give answering some of these questions.

Todays questions are how many have been hired at AMF in the past year? And for those that have left, can you give the name of the company they left for if any?

Thanks again.

has anybody ever left before the year commitment and had to pay to pro rated cost?
