For the open domicile chieftain right now, it's Oakland, Burbank, Phoenix, and Portland.

She said a little of both...I don't know if a class a month till the end of the year is accurate, but possilby for the next few months. I have heard numerous places say they will hire that much and they never do. It would be nice if that was true though.

somewhere down the pipeline i heard that they turned a couple of runs into pa-31's. few people got downgraded, but who knows, maybe you can get down there sooner.

What do you think about actually going there in person?

I'd suggest you don't go there in person. As an intern at pt 135 operation I worked very closely with the pilot recruitment folks and we had a few people visit in person. Our pilot recruiters told me they don't prefer visits in person and that most the people who do are crazy. I'm not saying you're one of the crazies, but people who visit in person do have a bit of a stigma attached to them.

Since it seems like Ameriflight's HR department is pretty small I'm sure they're pretty busy, so periodic attempts to contact via email or phone will show them you're interested in the job but also respect their time at work and should pay off the best in the end.
